Pat’lin d’Merde

On Alésia Cosmos’s first album, there’s only one real song with lyrics, finally a few words only. But they have a heavy sense of derision and radicalism.

 I wrote it in 5 minutes. It’s art brut. The blues of a teenager (that I wasn’t already long) reviewed in a benevolent caricature and covered in electro-punk sauce and minimum at wish. Bruno de Chénerilles

And since the album was released in 1983, this song comes into resonance and causes an immediate reaction of fun and hilarity in all French-speaking fans, all generations and up to our days. It’s rather reassuring, as long as it lasts…
